These terms

These terms apply when you use our website or buy from us.

They should be read together with our Returns, Shipping and Privacy policies.

If mandatory consumer law gives you greater rights than these terms, those rights take priority.

Orders and payment

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products in your basket.

We may contact you before production if we need to verify device details, specifications, availability, payment or another material part of the order.

Prices shown at checkout are the prices payable for the order, subject to correction of an obvious pricing error before we accept or fulfil the order.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout.

Made-to-measure products and device information

Many Auzi products are made specifically for a particular hearing aid or cochlear implant.

You are responsible for providing accurate device information and any requested photographs or measurements.

We use the information you provide to verify compatibility before production.

Where we have verified the device details from accurate information supplied by you, we stand behind the fit of the jewellery to that specified device.

If the information supplied to us is inaccurate or incomplete, additional remake or alteration costs may apply.

Ready-to-wear products

Some products, including standard HEARLOOM pieces, are ready-to-wear rather than made to your personal specifications.

Statutory cancellation rights may therefore apply to those products.

Cancellations, returns and faults

Made-to-measure and personalised goods may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights where permitted by law.

Standard non-personalised goods may have cancellation rights.

Faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods remain subject to your statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Delivery and risk

Production times and delivery estimates are set out on product pages, at checkout or in our Shipping Policy.

For consumer orders, risk generally remains with Auzi until the goods come into your physical possession, except where applicable law provides otherwise because you independently arranged a carrier we did not offer.

Product use, safety and compatibility

Auzi jewellery is an external accessory and is not a medical device.

Our products are designed to sit externally on compatible hearing devices and are designed not to obstruct microphones, tubing, controls or normal operation when correctly fitted and used.

Stop using the jewellery and contact us if you experience discomfort, interference, an unexpected change in device performance or any other concern.

If appropriate, seek advice from your audiologist or device manufacturer.

Hearing-device manufacturers set their own warranty terms. Auzi cannot guarantee how a third-party manufacturer will interpret its warranty, so customers should check with the manufacturer if they have a warranty-specific concern.

Third-party brands

Auzi is an independent jewellery company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by hearing-device manufacturers unless we expressly say otherwise.

Third-party brand and model names are used only to identify compatibility or describe a collaboration where one exists.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Auzi name, branding, product designs, photographs, website content and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Auzi Hearing Limited.

They may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without permission except where the law allows.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded.

Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to products, prices and these terms

We may update products, availability, prices and these terms from time to time.

Changes do not retrospectively remove rights that already apply to an order you have placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK or another country, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in your local courts where applicable law provides them.
